Putting Textures on 3d objects
For this assignment, a sample texture map is given. You will be replacing the texture with one that you design yourself.
Look at the sample 3d objects. Choose one that you would like to base your design on. (Can or Box product)
Find the matching texture file for your object. Copy and paste the texture file to your own folder on the R drive.
Come up with a good product name. If need be collect some images from the internet to help.
Using an image editing program (Flash, Gimp, Photoshop), open the texture file and use it as a guide. Create new layers to draw on or add text.
When you have completed your design, save it as a BMP, jpg, or PNG file type. PUT YOUR NAME ON IT.
