Steps
1.Find an object that you want to trace over. The idea is to use the reference picture for guidance, not reproduce it line for line.
2. Place the image on layer 1 in flash
3. Lock the layer. (This prevents you from accidently trying draw on this layer)
4. Make a new layer. Rename this layer DRAW by double clicking on the label “layer 2”
5. Get a bright outline color that does not exist in the image. (green or red usually)
6. Using the line tool, draw some lines that start at the beginning of a curve and end at the end of the curve.
7. Use the move tool (Black arrow at the top of the tool palette) to curve the lines to fit the design)
8. When you are done outlining the object, select the whole thing and choose your real outline color (usually black)
you can add fills to the design and any other touches you wish
9. Delete the image you were tracing (not your drawing!). Save your flash file.

Save an image with a transparent background
First make sure that the flash drawing fits on the page. Scale it if need be.
To export an image: FILE- EXPORT IMAGE- Choose PNG as a file type.
