Making a particle from Daz Studio
Steps if you use Pixlr or sumopaint:
In summary, you need an image that has a transparent background (PNG works well). It also should be no bigger than 256 by 256 pixels. It does not matter which program you use to get the images.
- Find or draw the object that you need (Bowling pin, building, person, etc.).
- Delete the background around the object. (Use the selection tools to select and delete the areas, or use an eraser).
- Crop the image. (I usually don’t make particles any bigger than 256 pixels in either width or height).
- Save the image as a PNG image to keep the background transparent.
